On March 3, 2017, two Waldorf teenagers died during their lunch break in a single-car collision after their vehicle struck a pole in Charles County. A “heartbreaking time” for Westlake High School, a passenger riding in the car was transported to the hospital by Charles County Emergency Medical Services.
Rush Hour
During the evening rush hour on March 3, 2017, a 25-year-old mother of two children was pronounced dead in the hospital after her car left Route 301 in Charles County and struck a tree. Her children were treated at the hospital and released to family members.
Late Night
At 11:54 pm on March 3, 2017, an 18-year-old man was pronounced dead in Waldorf after his Honda Accord went off St. Peter’s Church Road on a curve and struck a tree. No alcohol was involved in these three accidents.
